It’s always such an honor when I get to capture family photos for my past Katelyn Anne couples! I photographed Stephen & Maegan’s wedding in January of 2017, so I was so excited when they asked me to do a lifestyle newborn session for them! They welcomed Jonathan Randal just a few weeks ago. I know for certain that Jonathan has such incredible parents & is SO very loved by his entire family!

I’m very thankful that I was able to capture this lifestyle newborn session for them just before the “shelter in place” order was set for Mississippi. It’s been strange to have to practice “social distancing” at my sessions this spring, but thanks to the best clients & having a variety of camera lenses, we’ve been able to capture everything just as we normally would!

Stephen & Maegan created the CUTEST Peter Pan themed nursery for Jonathan! They chose the sweetest details, & I just loved capturing all of the special elements they incorporated!

We joked during this session that Stephen & Maegan definitely have some stories to tell from their biggest moments the past few years. Their wedding day was the morning after an ice storm hit & most of the roads were closed, making it difficult for vendors & guests to make it. Then they had their first child in the middle of a global pandemic! I don’t think there are any two people more able to handle these circumstances! Maegan & Stephen have such amazing faith in the Lord, & it’s been such an honor to see them continue to give God glory. I’m so grateful to know them!!

Stephen & Maegan – thank y’all so much for trusting me to capture these first photos for y’all as a family of 3! Jonathan is just precious. I know he is going to grow to love the Lord & love people because of the amazing example y’all will continue to set for him.
