I have been looking forward to Cassidy & Tyler’s Brandon, Mississippi wedding at McClain Lodge since they reached out to me about capturing their wedding over a year ago! Their day had been a long time coming as Cassidy & Tyler are high school sweethearts!! I actually took Cassidy’s senior photos, so I was extremely honored when she & Tyler asked me to be their wedding photographer. After capturing their engagement session in Canton last fall, I just knew their wedding day would be incredible.

Cassidy shared the sweetest first look with her dad which made all of us cry! It was evident that Cassidy & her dad have a special relationship! When I asked if he would kiss her on the forehead for a photo, he quickly said “well of course!” Before the ceremony, Cassidy & Tyler read letters they had written to each other. Through tears, they shared from their hearts how they feel about each other & what they hope for in their marriage. It was such a special moment! When Cassidy’s dad walked her down the aisle, Tyler was overcome with emotion once again at his beautiful bride walking towards him!!

Their ceremony “Under the Oaks” at McClain was followed by a fun reception at “The Lodge”! From shrimp & grits and catfish to hamburger sliders and chicken & waffles, the food was incredible!! All of the decor was beautiful & perfect for a fall wedding. Following their first dance & special dances with their parents, Cassidy & Tyler danced the night away with their family & friends! Just before their big “send-off”, Cassidy & Tyler shared one final dance just the two of them, the perfect ending to an amazing day!
