Lauren & Sam are finally MARRIED! Saturday was truly a beautiful day, & it was such an honor to get to capture every moment of Lauren & Sam’s McClain Lodge wedding. I’ve been looking forward to this day ever since I first met this sweet couple! You may remember their engagement session from earlier this year & that Sam actually booked me to be their photographer BEFORE he proposed to Lauren because he knew how important it was to her to have me as their photographer — how amazing is that?!

This day has been long anticipated, & even more so as Sam will be deployed in just a couple of weeks. Both Sam & Lauren gave such special gifts to each other before their ceremony on Saturday, & it was so easy to tell that their love each other will help them through his upcoming deployment.

Lauren & Sam had such a beautiful ceremony under the oaks at McClain Lodge, one of my favorite venues! Saturday was one of the hottest days of the year, but Lauren & Sam handled it so well & we still got amazing photos as the sun was setting behind the trees at McClain. I want to give a huge shoutout to my second shooter, my sweet friend Meridith, for all of her help on Saturday — I truly couldn’t have done it without her!
