I have been looking forward to Sarah-Kate & Matt’s Bridlewood of Madison, Mississippi wedding day ever since they booked me as their photographer! We did their engagement session at the end of February, & I remember us joking about how it wouldn’t be that cold for their summer wedding! It definitely wasn’t cold on Saturday, but even in the August heat, it was SUCH a beautiful day!!

Sarah-Kate chose to share a “first look” with her dad & two brothers, & it was one of the sweetest moments of the day. She’s so close with her entire family, & I loved seeing how supportive they were of she & Matt on their big day. Sarah-Kate gave thoughtful gifts to both of her parents, & then her dad gifted her a beautiful bracelet for her to wear. I admire their family & the way they were so excited for Sarah-Kate & Matt!!

Their ceremony was so special. Matt was overcome with emotion when he saw his bride coming down the aisle. Sarah-Kate’s dad actually officiated the ceremony after he gave his baby girl away. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as he gave the Lord all the glory for bringing Sarah-Kate & Matt together. It was a joy to witness & capture their sweet ceremony!

We had been watching the weather forecast the whole day, & there were supposed to be some thunderstorms right around the time we were going to be taking all of the portraits! But thankfully, the storms went around us, & we got to take gorgeous portraits outside the beautiful Bridlewood barn! Sarah-Kate kept saying that she felt like she was in a dream & she couldn’t believe that she & Matt were finally husband & wife!!

The reception was a blast with entertainment provided by our favorites, Style Entertainment! Colley’s Catering hit it out of the park as always with amazing food including a taco bar & queso fountain!! The cakes created by Sharon Prather were amazing, but I have to say that Matt’s cake was truly unique as it displayed all of his favorite sports teams! Later on in the night, guests enjoyed an ice cream bar complete with all the best toppings. So fun!!

Mr. & Mrs. Payne – as your amazing day came to a close, I was reminded how much of an honor it’s been getting to work with y’all during this season! I hope these photos will bring y’all joy for years & years to come as you relive your amazing wedding day. Congrats!!
