I had the honor of capturing TWO amazing weddings this past weekend, & I’m so excited to share the second of those today!! Baylee & Alex’s Brandon, Mississippi wedding at McClain Lodge was a DREAM!! From the moment I got these two in front of my camera at their engagement session this past fall, I have been looking forward to their big day!

I first met Baylee when I captured her sweet sister’s wedding in 2018. Baylee is one of the most genuine brides ever! She & her 3 sisters are seriously the sweetest siblings I’ve ever gotten to work with. They are SO supportive & selfless towards each other. It’s been an honor to get to work with them twice now!! I loved spending time with them as well as Baylee’s awesome friends! We had a blast taking their portraits!!

When I first met Alex, I could tell he was going to be one of my favorite grooms! He had the best attitude during their entire engagement session & that carried over to he & Baylee’s wedding day. He was up for any photos we wanted to take, never complained, & was just focused on being with his beautiful bride. My favorite thing about Baylee & Alex is that it is very obvious they really are best friends. They were SO excited to become husband & wife!!

Baylee & Alex’s day was definitely full of joy & excitement, but they also made sure to honor Baylee’s precious mom. Baylee wore her mom’s veil which was so special, & we took some sweet photos of Baylee holding her mom’s bridal portrait from her wedding day. During the ceremony, each member of the wedding party lay a white rose on her seat, ending with Baylee & her dad laying the final 2 roses. As Baylee & her dad made their way down the aisle, I captured one of my absolute favorite photos of the day – Baylee looking up with the biggest smile on her face. I know her mom would be so proud of she & Alex & the life they are creating together.

The ceremony was beautiful & such a perfect reflection of the joy-filled relationship Baylee & Alex have! The reception was just the same – full of fun & celebration of the newlyweds!! As always, we loved working with the amazing team at McClain Lodge who not only run one of our favorite venues but also provide some of our all-time favorite wedding food! OAK Weddings did an incredible job with the florals – they were stunning as always! We had such an awesome vendor team who all worked together to make Baylee & Alex’s day perfect.
