Madison, Mississippi wedding photographer

I am loving introducing my 2022 couples!! Sarah-Kate & Matt’s Madison, Mississippi engagement session was so fun! It was chilly & overcast, but we made the most of it & took some gorgeous portraits of these two!! We joked that we definitely won’t have to worry about cold weather for their August wedding at Bridlewood of Madison! It may be the opposite weather then, but I seriously can’t wait!

Sarah-Kate & Matt met through a mutual friend at Mississippi College which I love because MC is where my husband Dylan & I met, also! I knew Sarah-Kate from our time at MC together, so of course I was thrilled when she reached out to me about being her & Matt’s wedding photographer!! I was so glad to finally meet Matt & was proud of how good of a sport he was about taking pictures in the cold!

Matt proposed to Sarah-Kate during the Christmas season! Sarah-Kate thought they were going to a friends’ Christmas party. When they pulled into the neighborhood, they realized they needed to drive around to waste some time before the party started. That’s when Matt drove to the neighborhood clubhouse where there were beautiful Christmas lights that he suggested they go look at! They walked out on the pier which Matt had decorated, & he proposed! Of course Sarah-Kate said yes, but little did she know that all of her family and friends were watching from the clubhouse! They spent the rest of the night celebrating with their people. I can’t wait to celebrate them alongside everyone on their wedding day!
