I was so excited to get to capture this sweet family last week!! You might remember Karlye & Preston from their engagement session & wedding day back in 2018. They are the sweetest couple, & I absolutely loved getting to be their wedding photographer!! I was so thrilled when I saw that they were expecting. Then when they asked me to be their newborn photographer, I was completely honored. Today I’m sharing all of my favorites from their precious baby boy newborn session in Brandon, Mississippi!

John Henry arrived on April 13 at 1:25pm weighing 7 pounds, 7 ounces. He is seriously ADORABLE & did SO great during the entire session! I loved seeing Karlye & Preston as parents – they are two of the most genuine, caring people I know. John Henry is so blessed to have them as his mom & dad!

I also have to say that his nursery is one of the cutest baby boy nursery’s I’ve ever seen! I love the way they paid tribute to Preston’s military service with using planes, a world map, & even a print of the phonetic alphabet in the nursery – the cutest!

Jennings family – it was such an honor getting to capture your first photos as a family of 3. I can’t wait to see all that God has in store for John Henry!! Karlye & Preston – y’all are already awesome parents. Keep relying on the Lord for strength, energy, & most of all love as you continue on your parenthood journey! He will always be faithful to give you exactly what you need as John Henry’s parents!
