MaKenzie & Dalton’s Mason Boutique Hotel wedding in Louisville, Mississippi was full of so much joy! I have loved getting to know them over the past year through capturing their engagement photos & talking with MaKenzie throughout her wedding planning! They are such a sweet, authentic couple, & it’s been evident from the moment I met them that making Christ the center of their marriage is their biggest priority. Their wedding day was a beautiful reflection of that!
I’ve gotten to capture several weddings at The Mason Boutique Hotel, but this was my first time shooting at their second location, The Mason on St. Charles. It’s a gorgeous house that’s been renovated & now used for renting as well as for events & weddings! It was the perfect backdrop for MaKenzie & Dalton’s ceremony, & then the reception followed at the original hotel right down the street.
There were several moments of this day that were such an honor to capture. MaKenzie & Dalton’s first look was so emotional & full of so much happiness & excitement. Dalton was truly overwhelmed when he saw MaKenzie in her dress for the first time! As they read their personal vows to each other, Christ & His calling on their marriage remained the theme throughout as MaKenzie & Dalton promised to choose each other every day for His glory!
Their ceremony was just as special, & the Lord’s presence was so evident! It was a gift to get to hear David Jett perform the ceremony as he did our wedding almost 10 years ago! He reminded all of us that marriage has to be based on more than just love, as the feeling of love can come & go. Marriage must be based on a commitment to each other & to the Lord above all! It was such a blessing getting to witness & capture MaKenzie & Dalton coming together as one!
Mr. & Mrs. Sullivan – your big day was truly beautiful, & it was an honor to get to be y’all’s photographer during this season! I hope you love reliving your day through these photos!!
