My first ever Arkansas wedding was a DREAM!! Saturday was stunning in every day, & I absolutely loved capturing the day for Anna Kate & BJ! From the ceremony in the church Anna Kate grew up in to the reception on Lake Chicot at her grandparents’ house, it was truly such a special day. I’m so excited to share all of my favorites from this Lake Village, Arkansas wedding!!

When we arrived at the girls’ getting ready house on Saturday, I was so excited to finally meet Anna Kate in person! She was just as sweet as I knew she’d be!! After capturing all of her beautiful bridal details, we took photos of her mom helping her into her dress. This moment of a wedding day has become so much more special to me now that I have two daughters of my own. I told Anna Kate’s mom that I could imagine how emotional of a day it was for her to watch her baby girl get married! She gave Anna Kate a beautiful cameo necklace she had bought after she was born & had saved to give to her on her wedding day. SO special!

After Anna Kate & BJ shared a first look, we took lots of portraits of the two of them as well as with their wedding party & family! Then it was time for their ceremony which was so sweet & personal. After the ceremony, their guests drove a few minutes down the road to Anna Kate’s grandparents’ lake house for their tented reception! It was GORGEOUS! We even got to take some sunset portraits near the water which was a dream!!
