I loved kicking off 2025 by capturing MaKenzie & Dalton’s Jackson, Mississippi winter engagement photos! It was such a joy finally getting to meet these two in person!! When we talked over the phone last fall about their plans for their upcoming wedding, I could immediately tell that MaKenzie & Dalton were such a sweet couple. But even more importantly than that, they are centering their wedding day & their marriage around the Lord. I feel so honored to be their photographer during this season!

It’s always fun for me to hear the stories of how my couples met! MaKenzie & Dalton met through a mutual friend (who will actually be Dalton’s best man) who introduced them, & the rest is history! It didn’t take them long to realize that God had brought them together & they are meant to be husband & wife. They are planning a May wedding in Louisville, Mississippi at one of my favorite venues, The Mason Boutique Hotel! I seriously cannot wait to capture their big day!!

For their engagement session, we started in downtown Jackson near First Baptist Church & the Mississippi State Capitol. We ended our session by the water at the Reservoir Overlook which was such a dreamy spot. I honestly love shooting in the wintertime & was so glad that MaKenzie & Dalton were up for it!! Thankfully it wasn’t too cold, & we had a great session together!!
