I have been looking forward to Lauren & Chad’s spring wedding at Providence Hill from the moment I first talked with Lauren last spring. I knew their day would be stunning, but I also knew they would be such an amazing couple to work with! They are just the sweetest, most genuine pair, & I have truly loved getting to be their photographer during this season. From their engagement session this past fall to Lauren’s bridal session just a few weeks ago, they’ve been a dream to capture. I’m beyond thrilled to share so many favorites from their gorgeous day!!

We arrived at the bridal suite at Providence Hill when Lauren & her 2 best friends were finishing up their hair & makeup, & it pretty quickly started storming outside. What I loved was that despite the weather Lauren remained so calm & was just so excited that she & Chad’s day had finally arrived. As Lauren was getting into her dress, the rain stopped, & we were able to do their first look & portraits outside the beautiful stables! Lauren & Chad were even able to still have the outdoor ceremony they wanted – yay!

Lauren is one of the most detail-oriented brides I’ve ever worked with, & I LOVE her for it!! Every detail she put together was classic & timeless. Lauren is also super thoughtful. For his groom’s gift, she gave Chad a journal where she had written him a letter every day for the past year. How sweet is that?! I loved seeing how much fun Lauren & Chad had together on their wedding day. I know that will continue in their marriage!

Once again, I got to work with some of my favorite vendors who all went above & beyond to make Lauren & Chad’s day possible. My friend Kim Sharp coordinated every detail & made sure the day went so smoothly! My friend Maggie Jones of Magpie Floral Design designed the most stunning florals as always – I’ll never get over the floral arch she did for the ceremony backdrop! When I tell you that High Cotton Catering made the most delicious food – y’all they even served a late night snack of burgers & fries!! The best!
