I just loved my time with Lauren & Chad for their Providence Hill Farm engagement session last week! I’ve gotten to talk with Lauren a few times since she booked with me, but this was my first time meeting Chad. I have to say, they are an awesome couple! Lauren is truly so sweet & fun, & Chad is absolutely hilarious. We had so much fun taking these photos to celebrate this special season!!

Lauren & Chad spent most of their relationship long distance & would cook dinner together on Friday nights that Chad would visit Lauren! On a Friday night around Valentine’s Day, they had made heart-shaped pizza (how cute!) & were talking on the couch when Chad surprised Lauren with a card he had written for her. She was confused since they were planning to go out to celebrate Valentine’s the next day. She quickly realized what was happening when she read the handwritten words “Will You Marry Me?” Lauren love for handwritten notes made this the PERFECT proposal – so so sweet!

For their engagement session, we started at their house on the land Chad has owned for a few years (over 100 acres, y’all!). I love that they will have these photos taken around their first home! We did the remainder of their session at their wedding venue, Providence Hill Farm, & it was perfect! I cannot wait to capture their April wedding & get to work alongside some of my favorite vendors including my coordinator friend Kim Sharp & florist friend Maggie of Magpie Floral!
