I can honestly say that this blogpost was a labor of love because I had SO many favorites from this day that I just couldn’t narrow them down!! Shelby & Taylor’s classic Vault Venue wedding was elegant, timeless, & full of the sweetest moments. I knew from their engagement session this past fall that their big day would be a dream to capture! They are one of the kindest, most genuine couples I’ve worked with, I’m honored that I’ve gotten to be their photographer. I’m SO excited to share all of my many, many favorites from their day!!

You’ll see that we got to take tons of beautiful bride & groom portraits of Shelby & Taylor! The joy they have together just made their photos shine. They stood back to back to read personal letters that they had written for each other, & then shared the happiest first look! I love that we got to use Taylor’s dad’s antique car as the backdrop for a lot of their portraits. They actually call the car “Tuxedo”, & you’ll see that it perfectly matched the classic, timeless details of the day!

As Shelby’s mom walked her down the aisle towards Taylor, I couldn’t help but think about how proud Shelby’s dad would be of her. To begin their ceremony, Shelby & Taylor washed each other’s feet, symbolizing their commitment to putting Christ at the center of their marriage, & loving each other selflessly as Christ loves the church. I can’t imagine a better way to begin the journey of marriage!

The brand new Mr. & Mrs. Huffman were greeted by loud cheers from their family & friends as they entered their reception. They then put on an amazing performance with a choreographed first dance! The fact that Shelby is a dance instructor was evident because their dance was perfect! After Taylor danced with his mom & Shelby shared a special dance with hers, Shelby’s sweet sister joined them for a choreographed dance to “Dancing Queen”! All of their guests danced the night away to the sounds of the amazing Style Entertainment – it was a blast!
