Mississippi wedding at BellaWood the Venue

I have been looking forward to capturing Madison & Caleb’s wedding day from the moment I first talked with them last fall! They are such a genuine, Godly couple whose joy in the Lord is evident to everyone around them. After their engagement session in May, I was even more excited about their Mississippi wedding at BellaWood the Venue! This past Saturday, it was finally here & was such a dream day!!

Saturday was a beautiful sunny September day for Madison & Caleb! When we walked into the bridal suite, Madison, her sweet mom & sisters, & her best friends all greeted us with cheers & excitement that the day had finally arrived! Once Madison was in her gorgeous dress, she & Caleb read personal vows to each other. Their parents & friends watched from a window inside & were all in tears! After taking some beautiful portraits before the ceremony, it was time for Madison to walk down the aisle to Caleb.

Their ceremony was so special & full of the joy of the Lord! After exchanging vows & rings, Madison & Caleb’s parents came to pray over them. Caleb then prayed over he & Madison – the most important way to begin their marriage! When the ceremony ended & they were officially husband & wife, we headed outside to find the most beautiful glowy sunlight to take portraits in! It was a DREAM!

One of my favorite parts of the day was the start of the reception! Madison & Caleb surprised Madison’s parents by their first dance song being Shania Twain’s “From this Moment On”, the same song they danced to at their wedding nearly 25 years ago (happy early anniversary to them!). Following Madison’s emotional dance with her dad, she then shared a special dance with her mom & 2 sisters. Being a girl mom myself, I was holding back tears during this one! Then Caleb & his mom surprised everyone when their sweet mom & son dance turned into a fun upbeat performance! It was the best celebration to end the most beautiful day!!

Madison & Caleb – I have absolutely loved getting to know you two & capture this season for y’all!! It’s been such an honor being your photographer! I hope your wedding photos will forever be a reminder of the Lord’s faithfulness as you began your marriage with Him as the center of it all!! Love you two & hope you have the most amazing honeymoon!!
