After 12 years of being a wedding photographer, I FINALLY got to capture an Oxford, Mississippi wedding at Castle Hill!! This venue has been on my bucket list for years, so I was thrilled when Elise & Connor told me their big day would be there! You may remember these two from their Vicksburg, Mississippi proposal last summer & engagement session last fall. I’ve been looking forward to Elise & Connor’s wedding ever since I first met them! They are the sweetest couple, & Saturday was a DREAM day! I’m so excited to share nearly 200 of my favorites!!

Everything about this day was classic, timeless, & just STUNNING! Castle Hill somehow exceeded my high expectations & was the perfect place for Elise & Connor to celebrate with their family & friends. We arrived to Elise & her girls finishing up with hair & makeup, & within just a few minutes of being there, Elise said that I had already made her feel so at peace. What an honor to get to walk alongside my brides & be a source of calm for them on their big day! I already knew several of Elise’s bridesmaids (3 of them are also Katelyn Anne Brides – the best!!) & after meeting the rest of her friends, it was evident that Elise & her girls were going to be the sweetest group!

Once Elise got into her dress with her mom & shared a first look with her dad, it was time for her to see her groom!! Connor is one of the nicest grooms I’ve ever worked with & has been such a good sport about taking all of the photos I’ve made him take over the past year! You can clearly see how much he loves Elise. They are high school sweethearts, so the fact that this day had been a long time coming made it that much more special!!

We got to take SO many portraits in the gorgeous chapel at Castle Hill, then it was time for Elise & Connor to become husband & wife!! Their ceremony was so sweet, meaningful, & full of joy! When the ceremony ended, Connor & Elise got to “cheers” as husband & wife for the first time, then we walked outside to the glowiest sunlight for their “just married” portraits. It was a dream!!

Guests enjoyed the most incredible food thanks to the amazing team at Castle Hill! The menu included charcuterie, crab claws, shrimp, fresh ahi tuna, beef tenderloin, a mashed potato bar, hot chicken sliders, & hot honey cheese bites – it was seriously some of the best food I’ve ever had! Everyone danced the night away & had the best time celebrating the new Mr. & Mrs. Bottin!!

Elise & Connor – I just love you two & am so honored that I have gotten to be y’all’s photographer during this season!! I know the Lord has awesome plans in store for y’all, & I can’t wait to see His faithfulness displayed through your marriage for years & years to come! Hope y’all love reliving your perfect day while you’re honeymooning in Hawaii!!
