It was such an honor getting to capture Anna Claire & Adam’s Mississippi summer wedding at McClain Lodge! A thunderstorm in the forecast led to the decision to move their outdoor ceremony inside, but these two weren’t phased one bit. They were just excited that their big day had finally arrived!!

After doing their engagement session just a couple of months ago, I couldn’t wait to get Anna Claire & Adam in front of my camera again! They are seriously the sweetest couple. My favorite moment from their day was getting to hear them read letters to each other after their first look. Their words were so loving, genuine, & full of joy in getting to become husband & wife.

I loved seeing Anna Claire & Adam stay joyful despite the weather! We moved up their first look & portraits to try to beat the storm, & JUST when we finished & got everyone inside, it started pouring! I was so grateful that we were still able to get lots of beautiful outdoor portraits for them. Their wedding party & families were amazing the entire day. Anna Claire & Adam have an awesome support system surrounding them as they begin their marriage!

It was sweet to see that Anna Claire had chosen to include her family in several special ways. She shared a first look with both her dad as well as her big brother. Her big sister was her matron of honor, & it was evident that being the “baby girl” of the family means Anna Claire is SO very loved! Her brother-in-law performed the ceremony, & he ended by saying “Adam, welcome to the family! You may now kiss your bride!” Both the father/daughter dance & mother/son dance during the reception brought tears to my eyes. I am so thankful that I got to capture the day for all of them!!

Anna Claire & Adam – thank you both for giving me the honor of being your wedding photographer!! I’m so excited for y’all to begin your marriage centered in Christ. Continue to put Him first every day together! I hope these photos will bring y’all so much joy for years & years to come!!
