Addison & John’s day was a dream & stunning in every way!! From the classic details & elaborate florals to the amazing food & fun reception, I loved capturing it all! I’ve been looking forward to this wedding from the moment I met Addison & John at their engagement session last summer. I’m thrilled to share my favorites from this black tie wedding at The Reed House at Live Oaks!!

We truly had a dream team of vendors working together to make Addison & John’s day perfect. I finally got to work with Laura Beth Shufelt of L. Bliss Event Planning, & she quickly became one of my favorite coordinators I’ve ever worked with. Fresh Cut Catering & Floral created the most stunning florals, made the most delicious food, & provided the most beautiful rentals. It’s been way too long since I’ve gotten to work alongside my friend Grace Garvey Films – I loved spending the day with her & know Addison & John’s wedding video will be perfection!

It started raining right before I began shooting the bridal details & didn’t stop for a couple of hours. Thankfully, we were still able to capture so many beautiful portraits, & the rain stopped in time for Addison & John’s outdoor ceremony! I’ll never forget how sweet it was to hear John tell Addison how beautiful she looked over & over again all day. He was in awe of his bride! Addison told me months ago that she wanted to share a “first look” with her almost 97-year-old great-grandmother. It was such a precious moment as her great-grandmother started crying when she saw Addison, saying how amazing she looked. It’s moments like that that remind me why my job is such an honor!!
