This wedding was super special for me to get to capture! I have known Marileigh since she was 2 years old!! Our families have always been close, so when she asked me to be her wedding photographer, I was SO honored. It’s been fun getting to talk through all the wedding plans with Marileigh & her sweet mom these past months! I have been looking forward to traveling to capture their Nashville, Tennessee wedding at The Lanning Farm!!

Marileigh met Jordan when her best friend introduced them at a soccer game in Nashville! They’re both amazing soccer players & they hit it off instantly! After two and a half years of dating, Jordan proposal to Marileigh at the Opryland Hotel surrounded by their friends. I love how God brought them together!

When I arrived on Saturday, I was so excited to see our dear friends who I hadn’t seen in what seems like forever!! It was so special capturing Marileigh’s mom helping her get ready. Two of the sweetest details of the day were Marileigh’s necklace & her mom’s bracelets that were made from pearls they had gotten while in China to bring her home 20 years ago! I also loved the “first look” moment Marileigh had with her precious dad. His toast at the reception told the story of how Marileigh became a “Daddy’s girl”, & he had everyone in the room holding back tears!

We took SO many gorgeous bride & groom portraits of Jordan & Marileigh including some “sunset portraits” – my favorite!! It was evident that these two love to laugh – they have tons of fun together, & I just know they’re going to have even more fun in their new journey as husband & wife!!
