I was so excited to capture Teresa & Carter’s beautiful wedding at Cedar Hall in Memphis, Tennessee on Sunday!! I first met Teresa when she came & stayed with me in my dorm when she was in high school! She was considering coming to my school (Mississippi College), & thankfully I was the student she got put with because it was the start of our friendship!! When Teresa got to MC, she became a part of my tribe (MC’s version of sororities) & we got to spend tons of time together during my last year of college! She is one of the coolest people I’ve ever met, & I just loved getting to know her & her heart for the Lord & others. Fast forward to this past spring when Teresa & Carter got engaged & I was SO excited when she asked me to shoot their wedding! They are such a sweet & fun couple! Having known Teresa for years, I knew she would be the most laid back bride ever – and she definitely was! She was just excited that their day had arrived & wasn’t worried about a thing other than enjoying her day with her now husband – seriously the best!

This was my first time getting to shoot at the GORGEOUS Cedar Hall, & it easily became one of my all time favorite venues. Not only is the entire place beautiful & great for photos, but the staff was truly amazing to work with. I was so impressed with everything they did – from the coordinating & catering, to the florals & decor, they went above & beyond to make Teresa & Carter’s day perfect!

One of my favorite parts of this day was seeing how so many people traveled from literally all over the country to get to celebrate alongside Teresa & Carter. From college friends to family members, many miles were driven or flown just to be a part of this day, & I think that says so much about how much Teresa & Carter are not only loved, but how much they love & impact others.
