Jackson, Mississippi engagement session

I always love hearing how the Lord brings my couples together in His perfect timing! Madi moved to the Jackson area to be the Director of Graduate Admissions at Mississippi College (my alma mater!). She met Tyler 2 weeks later, & on their first date, they ended up talking for nearly 5 hours! It was clear even then that they were meant to be together. They are the most genuine, sweetest couple, & I feel so honored to be their photographer during this exciting season. I’m thrilled to share all of my favorites from their Jackson, Mississippi engagement session!

Tyler surprised Madi with the sweetest proposal during dinner at Koestler Prime! He even made sure to propose while her mom was in town so she could be there to celebrate with all of their family & friends afterwards! It’s easy to see after spending time with these two that they are so very happy together. The joy they shared during their engagement session was just the best to capture!

We had perfect weather for our afternoon together starting in downtown Jackson at our beautiful capitol. Madi & Tyler were naturals in front of the camera which made my job easy! We ended our session at the Reservoir Overlook, catching the last bit of golden hour light. It was such a fun session!!

Madi & Tyler – I am absolutely loving working with y’all during this season! I can’t wait to capture your spring wedding at the stunning Stanton Hall in Natchez next year. I know y’all’s big day will be a dream!!
