Ally Powell & Drew’s Old Waverly engagement session was so beautiful! It was definitely a hot Mississippi July afternoon of course, but we were still able to take some special portraits to celebrate this sweet season for these two. It had been several years since I had gotten to shoot at Old Waverly, so I was glad to be back! It’s such a gorgeous property with so many great location options. I’m excited to share my favorites from Ally Powell & Drew’s engagement session!

Ally Powell is from Cleveland in the Mississippi Delta, & Drew is from Starkville, but their families have been friends ever since their dads were in their fraternity together. Now all these years later, these two are getting married! They’re planning a February wedding at Ally Powell’s childhood church, First United Methodist Church in Cleveland, with a reception following at Cotton House, one of my favorite Delta wedding venues! I’m so excited to work with the amazing Ellen Thomas Event Design as well as Oxford Floral. I know the day will be incredible!
