I absolutely LOVE when I get asked to shoot proposals!! It’s honestly the most high-pressure part of my job, but it’s the best! The emotions are so real, & the candid moments I get to capture are my favorite. I was so excited when Connor reached out to me about capturing his proposal to his girlfriend, Elise! They are both from Vicksburg & are actually high school sweethearts, so it was perfect that he wanted to have a Vicksburg, Mississippi proposal at The River House, a stunning venue overlooking the Mississippi River!

Connor did an awesome job putting together a good story to get Elise to the venue. He told her they were attending a proposal party for a friend of theirs! When Connor got down on one knee, I could tell Elise was so excited & SO surprised! Yay!! We got to take a few portraits around the beautiful property before they went to celebrate with their family & friends!

I’m thrilled that Elise & Connor have asked me to capture their August 2025 wedding at Castle Hill in Oxford!! It’s going to be a DREAM day!! Congrats to these two!!
