Summer wedding at Providence Hill Farm in Clinton, Mississippi

It’s been such a busy month, & I’m thankful that I got to end it by capturing Cathrine & Brooks’ summer wedding at Providence Hill Farm in Clinton, Mississippi! After having to postpone their day because of Covid-19, they were SO happy to finally get to say “I do” & become husband & wife! Despite the crazy heat & humidity, Cathrine & Brooks had the most laid back, joy-filled celebration. It was absolutely beautiful, & I’m honored that I got to be the one to photograph it all!!

As always, we started the day with some “getting ready” & bridal detail photos at Providence Hill, & Cathrine surprised me with the sweetest gifts for our baby girl! It was SO thoughtful!! I was very grateful to get to work alongside my friend Reagan of Outland Stories. We happen to be due 3 weeks apart, so it was so fun shooting this day together! By the end of the ceremony, we were laughing at how hungry we were, but thankfully we got to eat the most delicious food from Fresh Cut Catering & Floral – a combination of breakfast food (yay for mini chicken & waffles & donut holes) AND Mexican food (including enchiladas & chips & queso). SO GOOD!

One of my favorite moments of the day was getting to take sunset portraits out at the farm. The light was perfect, & Cathrine & Brooks were so happy to finally be husband & wife. Their day was full of gorgeous details & sweet moments, but I think the best part was seeing how Cathrine & Brooks truly are best friends. From the moment I met them last fall to their engagement session, I’ve loved every moment of working with these two & cannot wait to see what God has in store for their marriage!
