What a PERFECT way to end the year!! Elizabeth & Ethan’s winter wedding at Bridlewood of Madison, Mississippi was a total dream! I’ve been looking forward to their day for over a year, & I’m so thankful that I got to end my 2022 weddings with this one!!
You may remember Elizabeth & Ethan from their engagement session this past spring! I’ve known Elizabeth for quite a long time & was SO honored when she told me that having me as their photographer was a must. I will never take that for granted!! I don’t normally do weddings one week before Christmas, but for these two, I had to make an exception! It’s obvious that Elizabeth & Ethan are loved by lots & lots of people, because SO many family & friends came to celebrate with them!!
This day was a DREAM from start to finish, & I’m so excited to share ALL of my favorite moments!! Elizabeth was the definition of a joy-filled bride! She is always so fun to be around, & on her wedding day, she was the happiest I’ve ever seen her. Ethan was so excited to see Elizabeth for their “first look” – the way they looked at each other with the biggest smiles all day was simply the best!
We are having an abnormally cold December in Mississippi, but Elizabeth’s dream was to have an outdoor wedding, so that’s exactly what they did! The sun was shining all day long which helped with the cold but also gave us a STUNNING golden hour for Elizabeth & Ethan’s sunset portraits – yay!
I loved all of the beautiful winter details including wreaths & garland adorning the door as guests entered the venue, a stunning Christmas tree decorated with ornaments for guests to take home as favors, & a coffee/cider bar so everyone could warm up after the outdoor ceremony! Bridlewood of Madison was the perfect backdrop, Fresh Cut created gorgeous florals, & Style Entertainment kept everyone entertained during Elizabeth & Ethan’s fun reception! I was SO excited to get to work alongside my amazingly talented friend Miriam Shufelt Art who painted the most beautiful piece of the bride & groom standing hand in hand at their ceremony site. I know Elizabeth & Ethan will cherish it forever!
Mr. & Mrs. Martin – congrats!! It was such an honor getting to capture y’all’s perfect day!! I loved ending my year with you two & hope your photos will remind you often that your marriage is a gift from the Lord! I know y’all will bring Him glory throughout all your years together!!
