Jackson, Mississippi wedding photographer

I had so much fun capturing Addison & John’s Jackson, Mississippi engagement session at The Capitol! We had been worried it might rain during their session, & because they traveled all the way from their home in Destin, we really couldn’t reschedule! So we just hoped for the best, & fortunately, the rain held off! It was a super hot August afternoon, but Addison & John handled it so well, & we captured some gorgeous engagement portraits!!

John planned such a special proposal for Addison! He works overseas, 4 months on, 4 months off, so he told Addison that he wanted to do a Christmas photoshoot early since he wouldn’t be home for Christmas. He booked a photographer but somehow managed to let Addison think she was planning the entire thing! While they were taking photos on the beautiful Alys Beach on 30A, John got down on one knee!!

I was so excited to finally meet these two in person & hear more about their plans for their wedding day! Addison is from Jackson, so their wedding will be at The Reed House at Live Oaks in April. I cannot wait to see Addison as a bride & see John’s reaction to seeing her walk down the aisle!! It’s going to be the sweetest day!

Addison & John – thank y’all for coming all the way to Jackson for your engagement session with me. I loved getting to know you two better & can’t wait to capture your big day!!
