I have been looking forward to capturing Maddie & Blake for almost a year!! Blake proposed to Maddie in ITALY last summer (I know right?!) & I was beyond excited when Maddie reached out to ask me to be their wedding photographer!! She’s been in a couple of my past weddings & will be in a few more I’m doing this year. I consider it such an honor that she’s entrusting me to capture this season for she & Blake starting with their Jackson, Mississippi engagement photos!!

Maddie & Blake decided they wanted a downtown engagement session since their wedding will be among the stunning oak trees at The Reed House at Live Oaks. We spent the afternoon walking around the Mississippi State Capitol & Governor’s Mansion & had a blast! I was so impressed with Blake’s great attitude – it’s so secret that most grooms are not thrilled about taking pictures, but Blake was so laid back & up for anything! It’s so evident that he loves his bride-to-be!!

I absolutely LOVED finally getting these two in front of my camera & am already counting down til their wedding next April!!
