Our girl turned 5 months old on Easter Sunday!! Life with her just keeps getting better & better! Ellie’s 5th month included lots of squealing & laughing, reaching for things, touching Mama & Daddy’s faces, smiling at Daddy, reading with Mama, rolling from her back to her tummy, going to church, seeing new places, & meeting new friends! Some of our favorite moments this month were our trip to Tennessee/the Memphis Zoo, Gran getting to hold Ellie for the first time, & Ellie’s first Sunday at church!

We spent a Sunday afternoon with our dear friends, the Baxters! I did a photoshoot for them, & Anja & I even got some pictures of us with our girls. LOVE being girl moms together!!

We had so much fun on our road trip to Tennessee & Ellie’s first trip to the Memphis Zoo!!

I had to get some play time in with my girl before I left for my first wedding back after maternity leave AND it was my first night away from Ellie ever. I missed her so much!

But we spent that entire Sunday afternoon snuggling & watching Finding Nemo…the best!

A fun Friday afternoon of running errands with Mama!

A day we had prayed for – Gran FINALLY got to hold Ellie, her first great-grandchild. A picture of the Lord’s faithfulness!

My mom had brought one of my favorite childhood books that Gran used to read to me so that she could read it to Ellie…the sweetest.

Another answered prayer…Ellie’s first Sunday at church on Palm Sunday!!
