Merry Christmas, friends! I can’t believe Christmas is just ONE WEEK away!! This is always my favorite time of the year, & this year I’ve loved getting to enjoy so many old traditions as well as start some new ones. It’s always one of my favorite parts of the season to get out all of our Christmas decorations & spend an evening putting up our tree, hanging our stockings, & decorating our farm table!! I love getting to host our family & friends, especially during the holidays, so our table easily becomes my favorite part of our decor every year!

I used some of the same pieces that I did last year (you can see my blogpost about last year’s decor HERE), but I incorporated a few different elements this year like the “Merry” napkins my mom gave to me, mason jars for drinking glasses, & the wooden boxes my father-in-law made for our rehearsal dinner! I’ve had this paper table runner for a couple of years & finally decided to use it this year! I LOVE how it turned out!! I also decided to add real pine cones to the table (shoutout to my sweet husband for gathering them for me).

I thought I’d include a list of where some of our decorations came from!

Stockings: Hearth & Hand with Magnolia at Target

“Merry” sign: TJ Maxx

Cotton wreath: Magnolia

“Merry & Bright” pillows: Kirkland’s

Mason jars: Amazon

“Merry” napkins: Heart of the South

Gold napkin rings: Hearth & Hand with Magnolia at Target

Plates: Skyros Designs

Gold Christmas tree centerpiece: Hobby Lobby

I also wanted to share a recent post I wrote on my Instagram, about what the Lord has been teaching me during this season:

“The Lord is teaching me how to find joy in the little things this Christmas season, like decorating our house, wrapping gifts, & spending time with family. But more than anything, He’s teaching me that real joy comes from choosing to rest in Him, regardless of our circumstances, & focusing in on what He’s already done just because He loves us. I’m super expectant this Christmas season—that He will continue to do more than all I can ask or imagine, because that’s just who He is, & he is always enough.”
