This sweet family has been featured on the blog multiple times, & I’m excited to share their baby girl newborn session in Jackson Mississippi!! The Melancons are some of our closest friends. I’ve had the honor of capturing their first daughter Magnolia’s newborn session, their maternity session just a couple of months ago, & now their baby girl Rosemary’s newborn session. I’m so thankful for our friendship with the Melancons. They have been a true blessing to us, especially in this “parents of toddlers” season we are in together. We love getting to do life with them, & I love being their unofficial family photographer haha!

Rosemary Ryan was born on August 21 at 7:52am weighing 8 pounds & 20.5 inches long. I’m so proud of my friend Abby – she is an amazing mama & inspires me in so many ways. I was beyond excited when she texted me saying that Rosemary was here!! She is absolutely precious, & we can’t wait to watch her grow up alongside Magnolia who is already the best big sister ever.

During the entire session, Magnolia was so sweet to Rosemary – giving her hugs, telling her to “say cheese”, & holding her so carefully! It was so adorable!! I love that we did this session exactly one week after Rosemary was born. We know babies change & grow so quickly, so I’m glad that Abby & Myles will have these photos to look back on to remember their first week with 2 precious girls!
