I absolutely loved getting to capture this sweet family again for their newborn session in Louisville, Mississippi!! I was Lindsey & John Mark’s photographer for their wedding in 2017, & then I got to do their daughter Kennedy’s newborn session in 2019. When Lindsey reached out to me this past spring saying they were expecting a second child & wanted me to take their photos again, I was so excited!!

John Reese Carter was born on November 15 at 2:34pm, weighing 7 pounds & 14 ounces. He is the most beautiful baby boy, & we had the best morning in their gorgeous home right outside Louisville, Mississippi. Kennedy is the best big sister & was so sweet to her baby brother the entire session! I had a blast capturing this precious family of 4!!

One of my favorite parts of being a lifestyle newborn photographer is getting to talk to the mamas about their pregnancy, delivery, & all things motherhood. After having Ellie, I have so much respect & admiration for every mama & everything they do for their kids. Kennedy & John Reese are so blessed to have Lindsey & John Mark as their parents!!
