April & Sam’s Mississippi summer wedding was absolutely beautiful & glorified the Lord so much! You may remember these two from their engagement session that I captured earlier this summer, & I’ve been looking forward to their big day ever since they asked me to be their wedding photographer!! Through constant changes to their wedding plans due to Covid-19, April & Sam stayed constant in their desire to become husband & wife on August 15 no matter what! They had the sweetest ceremony at their church followed by a reception for their family & wedding party. I’m so thankful that I was able to capture their beautiful day!!

When I arrived at the church on Saturday, I was greeted by one of the most welcoming wedding parties ever! April & Sam’s bridesmaids & groomsmen were so sweet & thoughtful. It was evident that they have such a supportive group of friends! It was also fun for me to have already known most of their wedding party!! April chose to have a “first look” moment with her dad, brother, & grandfather, & EVERYONE was in tears. It was so special for the three of them to get to see April in her wedding gown for the first time!

April & Sam also shared a first look & were overcome with emotion. Their day was FINALLY here, & despite everything they’ve been through these past several months, they were about to become husband & wife!! My absolute favorite part of the day was during April & Sam’s beautiful ceremony. After exchanging rings & vows, the entire congregation was led in worship to the song “Way Maker”. As I did my best not to cry behind my camera, I was reminded how faithful our God is & how He had truly made a way for April & Sam to not only meet years ago, but for them to join together in the amazing covenant of marriage.
