Fall is always my busiest season, & I am loving all of the engagement sessions I’m getting to capture! I was excited to finally meet Havee & Bowen in person last week. They were such a joy to work with & just the sweetest couple. I’m already looking forward to their wedding next year in the Mississippi Delta – engagement photos are done & wedding day will be here before we know it!

Havee & Bowen met at Mississippi State a couple of years ago, & the rest is history! After looking at rings together, Havee obviously knew the proposal was coming at some point. During a trip to Seaside with friends this past May, Bowen proposed on the beach! Not only did he do an amazing job surprising Havee with the proposal, but he also surprised her by having their families all come down to celebrate with them!

Havee is from Greenwood in the Mississippi Delta, so she & Bowen are planning a beautiful spring wedding there! The ceremony will be at her home church followed by a reception at the Historic Elk’s Lodge (The Carl Center). I always love getting to do Delta weddings & can’t wait to travel to Greenwood in less than 5 months to capture Havee & Bowen’s big day!
