My busy wedding season is FINALLY here, & I was SO excited to capture Carrie & Luke’s Natchez, Mississippi wedding on Saturday!! Ever since I traveled to Natchez this past fall for their engagement session, I have been looking forward to this day!! Every part of their day was full of special details. The reception was at the bride’s family home where generations of her family have lived for over a century, & Carrie & Luke were married in the church that generations of Carrie’s family members have always been married in! Hundreds of their family & friends came to celebrate their wedding day, & it was so awesome to see just how much Carrie & Luke are loved by SO many!!

Their ceremony was so special as they had family members & friends stand & read prayers over their marriage. It was such a beautiful moment & realization that Carrie & Luke will have people supporting them & encouraging them throughout their life together! One of my absolute favorite moments of their day was Carrie’s sweet mom walking her down the aisle, hand in hand. Carrie also shared a dance with her mom at the reception, & when her brother joined them, I couldn’t hold back the tears!

Carrie & Luke were so full of joy the entire day, & getting to capture these moments for them was truly an honor! I loved seeing just how excited they were to become husband & wife, & their amazing journey has only just begun!!
