Hailey & Hadleigh’s day was so full of joy & was such a testament to the Lord’s faithfulness!! They’ve grown up in the same town their whole lives, but it wasn’t until they were teenagers that they officially met, & the rest is history! God’s timing was so perfect, & I know that He has such a great purpose for Hailey & Hadleigh’s marriage! Their wedding this past Saturday was beautiful in every way!! They were married in the church where Hailey grew up & where they met as teenagers, & SO many of their family & friends came to celebrate their marriage! I’m so thankful that I got to be the one to capture the day for them!!

The Lord’s faithfulness was on full display throughout the entire day in another amazing way. Almost one year ago, Hailey’s mom was diagnosed with stomach cancer, & when the doctors went in to remove her stomach, they discovered that the cancer had spread throughout her entire body, giving her only a few months to live. A month or so later, she began chemo to help control the pain while their family & friends fasted & prayed for a miracle.

Three months later, she went back to the doctor for a scan. When the doctor entered the room, he was speechless. The scan showed NO SIGN of cancer!! When there was no hope, God had a different story & miraculously healed Hailey’s mom!! Three months later, she went back for a second scan and the results were the same — no cancer!! The next week, Hadleigh proposed to Hailey, & their ENTIRE family got to be together to celebrate all that God had done! Hailey’s mom was able to be with her every step of the way through all of the wedding planning, & on Saturday, she was full of joy getting to watch her daughter marry her best friend! It was a day full of SO much JOY as we remembered just how faithful the Lord had been & will continue to be!!

From Hailey & Hadleigh’s sweet first look, to all of their family & friends coming alongside them to celebrate their marriage, it was such an honor to capture this day! During their ceremony, Hailey & Hadleigh chose to wash each others’ feet as a display of their promise to love one another, just as Christ loves His church. What a beautiful display of the Gospel!!
