Kelly & David’s wedding day this past Saturday was beautiful in so many ways, & I’m so thankful that I got to be a part of it!! With rain earlier in the day, we were SO surprised when the sun came out & we had nothing but blue skies!! It was seriously perfect! Kelly & David have always loved going out to the Town of Livingston for their seasonal farmer’s market and dinner date nights, so when The Chapel at Livingston was built, they just knew that’s where they had to say “I do!” This was my first ever wedding there, & it was truly a dream come true!! Their reception was held at another special location, Kelly’s childhood home, & it was so sweet to get to capture the beginning of this new chapter for she, David, & their precious family!

So many special moments made this day such a joy to capture! One of my absolute favorite moments was right after Kelly & David’s first dance & their dances with their parents, the DJ called David’s grandparents to the dance floor. As “their song” started playing, they shared a special dance to celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary, the anniversary they now share with Kelly & David. It was one of those moments that as a photographer you remember THIS is why you do this job!! As much as I love capturing beautiful details & gorgeous portraits, it’s once in a lifetime moments like this that mean the most, & I hope to never ever take this job for granted.
