It was such an honor getting to be a part of Jake & Kaitlyn’s big day in Tennessee this past weekend!! After dating for over 8 years, it was finally their turn to become husband & wife!! Kaitlyn & Jake mean a lot to us as Kaitlyn & my husband have been friends their entire lives, so it was truly such a joy to get to capture Kaitlyn & Jake’s day. One of my favorite aspects of their day was seeing just how much Kaitlyn & Jake appreciated all of the family & friends who came to celebrate with them. You could tell that they’re both so loved by everyone who knows them, & it was so awesome to see all of their people come together to be a part of their wedding celebration after all these years!!

After shooting weddings in 90 degree heat for months, it was the BEST to have a wedding on a cool fall day! Kaitlyn & Jake were married in the church she grew up in, & their reception was just down the road at the most beautiful venue, The Manor at Mount Carmel! I loved all of the fall colors & details that Kaitlyn incorporated into their day! One of my favorites details were the orange/white & maroon/white pom poms they had for their exit to represent their favorite teams!! One of my favorite moments of their day was definitely Kaitlyn’s first look with her dad—it was the sweetest moment!
