Katie & Marshall grew up in the same town & even attended the same church for years, but it wasn’t until a little over a year ago that they started dating & are now getting married!! I was SO excited when Katie contacted me about their January wedding, & I couldn’t feel more honored to get to be their photographer during this season! Katie & Marshall are truly one of the sweetest couples, & they are just SO full of joy!! Despite the heat & humidity we had to deal with during their engagement session earlier this week, they didn’t complain once & were just so much fun to capture! Their proposal story is the perfect example of how they love living life together!!

Marshall’s hobby is skydiving — yes you read that correctly, SKYDIVING! I found out during their session that he’s been skydiving over 100 times, so it only makes sense that he surprised Katie for their proposal after taking her on a skydiving adventure! He even had a video made of their entire dive followed by him getting down on one knee, & it is just the sweetest!! Of course I cried watching it, & I’m just so excited to see what all the Lord has in store for Katie & Marshall as they embark on the journey of marriage!!
