I couldn’t have imagined a better first engagement session of the year!! On Tuesday, I got to travel to Memphis, TN to capture Avery & Garrett, & it was seriously a DREAM! We had so much fun shooting at some of my favorite spots in the city! With rain on it’s way, we thankfully beat the bad weather & had SUCH an awesome session!! 

Avery & Garrett are both CPAs, which obviously means this is their BUSIEST time of year, so I’m super thankful they were willing to fit in their session this week!! Even though they now both live in Memphis, they actually met at a work event in Charleston, SC where Garrett was recruiting for their firm! They met the first night of the event, and from that point on, Garrett found every excuse he could to talk to Avery! When the event ended, they said goodbye & went their separate ways, but the next year, while Avery was interning at their firm, they started dating, & the rest is history!! It’s so awesome to see how much fun these two have together & how excited they are to become husband & wife!! 

Their wedding will be in Avery’s hometown of Louisville, MS in August, & I seriously cannot wait to capture their day!!
