I can’t think of a couple who desires to bring glory to the Lord more than Lindsey & Eric! My story with these two goes all the way back to my middle school days when Lindsey was my science teacher! She quickly became not only one of my all time favorite teachers, but also a mentor & friend. Fast forward to my high school days in youth group – Eric was one of our adult leaders & spent so much of his time serving & teaching us how to follow Jesus. Years later, these two met, & they got married 6 years ago this month! Their story is SUCH a testament to the faithfulness of God, & their journey together has been such an encouragement to Dylan & I we also want to glorify Christ through our marriage.

Lindsey & Eric’s story has intertwined with mine in so many ways, but one of my favorite ways is that their wedding was the very FIRST wedding I ever got to capture! I had just gotten my first camera, & Lindsey asked me, along with another aspiring photographer, to take their wedding photos! Since I was one of the photographers, I can say that they unfortunately did not get any true professional photos taken that day, so when Lindsey asked me to capture their 6 year anniversary photos, I was beyond honored. It was truly a full circle moment as Lindsey & Eric got back into their wedding attire & we spent an afternoon taking “wedding photos!” It was truly such a blessing to get to take these for these dear friends of mine!

To top off this amazing day, Lindsey & Eric gave me one of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve ever been given! My word for the year is “legacy”, & Lindsey had seen my post on Instagram earlier this year explaining why I wanted this word to represent 2017 for me! Lindsey had a friend of her’s create a beautiful piece of art for me that reads “The choices we make about the lives we live determine the kinds of legacies we leave.” Lindsey & Eric, your legacy has already impacted my life so much, & I’m so excited to see what the Lord continues to do in & through your marriage! I love you both so much!
