I’ve known these two since we were in college together, so when Lauren asked me to be their photographer, I was SO honored! Lauren was actually on my staff when I worked at our college after I graduated, & I got to see she & Christopher’s relationship continue to grow during that season! It was so clear that they would one day get married, but little did I know that I would get to be the one to capture it!! They had the most beautiful summer wedding complete with colorful wildflowers from a local farm, the sweetest ceremony at their home church, & a fun & joyful reception at the Mississippi Craft Center (which was super special to me since we had our wedding reception there, too!)

I just loved being a part of this day! One of my favorite parts of the day was watching Chris carefully take care of Lauren all day long! After their first look, it was his biggest priority that her dress be perfectly laid out in every photo, that she wasn’t getting too tired or hot (gotta love Mississippi summer heat!), & that she was overall taken care of. It was just the sweetest & made it even more clear that Chris is going to take such good care of his bride for the rest of their life together!! What a beautiful picture of the love Christ has for His bride!

Lauren & Chris – it was an honor & privilege to get to capture the first day of your journey as husband & wife! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for y’all!! So thankful to call you both friends! I hope you are able to relive your amazing day for years & years to come!
