What a joy it was to get to capture Kayla & Alex’s wedding day this past Saturday at The Sonnet House in Birmingham! I had been looking forward to this day for not just months, but years. I met Kayla while we were in college together, & as she does with everyone she meets, she immediately made an impact on my life with the way that her love for the Lord & His Word encouraged & challenged me. I knew that whoever she married one day would have to be not just be an awesome guy, but would have to love the Lord above all & love Kayla unconditionally. Through Kayla moving to Birmingham & meeting Alex through friends, the Lord was faithful to bring them together in His perfect timing. It’s been such a blessing to get to know Alex more during this season, & I can honestly say that together, these two are going to change the world by advancing the gospel & allowing their marriage to be an example to so many.

Their wedding day was the perfect display of God’s faithfulness as all of their family & friends who have been a part of their journey individually & together came to celebrate their new journey as husband & wife! It’s so obvious that these two are loved by MANY, & that’s because they’ve impacted many through their love for Christ & others! I can’t wait to see what God has in store for them!!

From their first look to their first embrace as husband & wife, their day was full of so much joy, & the weather couldn’t have been more perfect for their outdoor ceremony & reception! It was such an amazing day, & I’m honored that Kayla & Alex & their families chose me to capture it!
