What an honor it was to be a part of Heather & Andrew’s wedding day! From the moment I met Heather over the phone last fall, I knew she would not only be one of my favorite brides but she’d also become a friend. Heather’s friends & family had told me how incredible she was, & on her wedding day, I saw why. She stopped & hugged & LOVED her people. On her biggest day, she was focused on others, personally thanking each person for coming, making them each feel important, that their presence mattered & was a gift to she & Andrew. I just loved getting to watch such a selfless bride get to marry the man that the Lord had for her. I’ll never forget the way that all of their family, friends, & guests celebrated the Lord’s faithfulness that day. It was just the best.

I had gotten to spend some time with Andrew & Heather for their engagement session in December, & immediately I knew that Andrew was different. Not for a second did he have a negative attitude about the session. As the temperature dropped & the wind picked up, he just smiled & held his bride-to-be & made sure she was taken care of. It was a beautiful thing to witness. I got to hear even more of Andrew’s heart for Heather as he prayed over them, their wedding, & their marriage just before they were about to say “I do”. Though they didn’t see each other, they held hands & prayed & asked the Lord to receive all of the glory that day & forever. Heather’s expression said it all — so full of peace & assurance that this man was THE one she wanted to be with for the rest of her days, no matter what’s to come.
