Hallie Brand, Emily Moore, & I hosted this event together, & it was such a joy getting to lead & serve alongside two of my dearest friends. We had so much fun putting together gather | Jackson 2020!

I had SO much fun getting to be an educator at the Amy-Cole Workshop a couple of weeks ago!! Amy is one of my dear friends who I met at our friend Callie’s workshop in Charleston, so it was such an honor to get to help her at her first workshop in her home in Atlanta! I am SO excited to share more about the first ever Summer Refresh event that my friend Hallie Brand of Dot & I hosted for creatives & entrepreneurs at LifeHouse in Jackson, Mississippi last week! A couple of years ago, Hallie & I started talking about the need for a workshop/retreat for small business owners in our area, & after months of planning, our dream finally came to life! It was such a blessing to see the Lord’s faithfulness in every detail of this event coming together. Hallie & I both felt that having 10 attendees would create the perfect sized group, & we had exactly 10 ladies register!! They are SUCH a talented group, & we had the best day getting to encourage & share with them.

I am SO excited to announce a brand new event hosted by myself & my dear friend, Hallie Brand of Dot! For the past few months (and if we’re being completely honest, the past couple of years), Hallie & I have been brainstorming & talking about hosting some sort of workshop/event for small business owners & creative entrepreneurs in the Jackson, Mississippi area. We are so incredibly excited to say that our dream is finally becoming reality as we host the first ever Summer Refresh on July 11 at Lifehouse in Jackson, Mississippi!

Friends, I had the most AMAZING time at the Callie Lindsey Workshop in Franklin, Tennessee last week! Some of you may remember that I attended The Charleston Workshop led by Callie Lindsey back in the fall of 2017, & it was truly a game changer for my business!! Callie has been SUCH a huge encouragement to me from the moment I met her, & I was beyond honored when she asked me to come back as a workshop alum & help with her first workshop in Franklin!

At the beginning of October, I traveled to Franklin, TN, the cutest southern town just outside of Nashville, to attend the Abound Conference! It was SUCH a refreshing few days getting to see old friend & make new ones, & I am so grateful for the amazing experience created by the Abound team! Karen Stott, founder of the Abound Co. (previously known as Pursuit Community), is such an amazing leader & her heart for women, specifically women who are entrepreneurs/creatives, has made such an impact on my life over the past few years. I attended the last Pursuit Conference in Rome, GA a little over 2 years ago, so when I heard that the first Abound Conference was going to be held in Franklin, I immediately bought a ticket & made plans to attend!

Happy Friday, friends!! Earlier this week, I had the incredible opportunity to join 16 other photographers along with our amazing hostess, Callie Lindsey, for The Charleston Workshop!! We spent 3 days in the heart of Charleston, South Carolina for a time of growing, capturing gorgeous styled shoots, & most importantly, encouraging our new friends in the things God is doing to grow their businesses into all He has for them to be!! It was seriously a life changing experience for me, & I am so thankful that I had this experience, especially during this season of my business.
