Last week, we hosted the second gather | Jackson, an event for creative small business owners in Jackson, Mississippi! Hallie Brand, Emily Moore, & I hosted this event together, & it was such a joy getting to lead & serve alongside two of my dearest friends. We had so much fun putting together gather | Jackson 2020!

I am SO excited to share more about the first ever Summer Refresh event that my friend Hallie Brand of Dot & I hosted for creatives & entrepreneurs at LifeHouse in Jackson, Mississippi last week! A couple of years ago, Hallie & I started talking about the need for a workshop/retreat for small business owners in our area, & after months of planning, our dream finally came to life! It was such a blessing to see the Lord’s faithfulness in every detail of this event coming together. Hallie & I both felt that having 10 attendees would create the perfect sized group, & we had exactly 10 ladies register!! They are SUCH a talented group, & we had the best day getting to encourage & share with them.

I am SO excited to finally introduce my spring intern, Sara Beth! Sara Beth will be helping me in the studio & at several wedding days over the next few months. We kicked off her first day last week with a morning of training & a celebratory lunch! I can’t wait to have her work alongside me this spring! Sara Beth is SO sweet & is definitely a promising photographer. I had Sara Beth write a few words to introduce herself to all of you!

I was SO excited when Kara reached out about doing a mentoring session with me! It was so much fun having her over to our home a couple of weeks ago as we discussed her wanting to launch a photography business! Kara has done photography as a hobby for a couple of years, & it was finally time for her to step out & start a real business! I’m SO proud of all that she has accomplished since our session!!
