I was so excited to capture Teresa & Carter’s beautiful wedding at Cedar Hall in Memphis, Tennessee on Sunday!! I first met Teresa when she came & stayed with me in my dorm when she was in high school! She was considering coming to my school (Mississippi College), & thankfully I was the student she got put with because it was the start of our friendship!! When Teresa got to MC, she became a part of my tribe (MC’s version of sororities) & we got to spend tons of time together during my last year of college! She is one of the coolest people I’ve ever met, & I just loved getting to know her & her heart for the Lord & others. Fast forward to this past spring when Teresa & Carter got engaged & I was SO excited when she asked me to shoot their wedding! They are such a sweet & fun couple!

It was such an honor getting to be a part of Jake & Kaitlyn’s big day in Tennessee this past weekend!! After dating for over 8 years, it was finally their turn to become husband & wife!! Kaitlyn & Jake mean a lot to us as Kaitlyn & my husband have been friends their entire lives, so it was truly such a joy to get to capture Kaitlyn & Jake’s day. One of my favorite aspects of their day was seeing just how much Kaitlyn & Jake appreciated all of the family & friends who came to celebrate with them. You could tell that they’re both so loved by everyone who knows them, & it was so awesome to see all of their people come together to be a part of their wedding celebration after all these years!!

I couldn’t have imagined a better first engagement session of the year!! On Tuesday, I got to travel to Memphis, TN to capture Avery & Garrett, & it was seriously a DREAM! We had so much fun shooting at some of my favorite spots in the city! With rain on it’s way, we thankfully beat the bad weather & had SUCH an awesome session!! 

Saturday’s Memphis wedding was one for the books!! Every detail of Paige & Hasan’s wedding day was so representative of their love for the city where they met, fell in love, & became husband & wife!! From their blue suede shoes to the Grizz towels given to guests at the reception to the amazing fried chicken dinner, these two wanted their day to be such a fun experience for their friends & family, & it definitely was!!

What a gorgeous day this was, friends! Mary Rachel & Walter’s wedding in Memphis this past Saturday was nothing short of a dream! It may have rained most of the day, but nothing could have gotten in the way of these two being so happy to be getting married & beginning their journey as husband & wife!! This day was elegant, full of joy, & glorifying to the Lord, & I was so honored to be the one capturing it.

I absolutely LOVE getting to shoot in Memphis, so when Paige first reached out to me about possible shooting their June wedding in Memphis, I was BEYOND excited! I was also thrilled because she & Hasan wanted to do their engagement session in Memphis, too, so a couple of weeks ago, I made less than a 9 hour trip to my favorite city, & it was SO worth it!

Carmen & Joe’s story is one that I am so excited to share with you!! She is originally from Oregon, he is from New Hampshire, both ending up in Arkansas because of teaching!! They met when they both decided to run the same marathon in the town Carmen was living in, & even though it took a month for their relationship to really begin, it’s easy to see that God orchestrated it all in His perfect timing!! Carmen & Joe are one of the most selfless & genuine couples I’ve had the honor of knowing, so the fact that I get to capture this season of their story is truly the greatest blessing!!

To say that Kelly & Luke are a dream to photograph would be such an understatement!! I absolutely loved my time with these two in Memphis a couple of weeks ago, & I seriously can’t wait for their Jackson, Tennessee wedding in June! From the moment Kelly reached out to me about shooting their big day, I knew that she & Luke would be the kind of couple I always hope to get to work with. They love the Lord & desire to glorify Him through their relationship, & they both love people SO well.
