This family of 3 is so special to me!! Moriah & I became close friends in college, & I got to capture she & Josh’s wedding on New Year’s Eve 2014! We now go to church together, & I’m so thankful for Moriah & I’s talks over coffee as well as getting to serve alongside her at our church. I remember the Sunday morning she told me that she & Josh were expecting!! Right before the service started, she came to hug me & told me they would be needing some newborn photos in January! Josh & Moriah have known the gender of their baby for months but chose not to tell anyone else until their baby was born which I think is so special. Crosby is the most beautiful baby girl, & I was so excited to get to meet her last week & capture the Carvers’ first official photos as a family of 3!!

I absolutely loved getting to capture this sweet family of four right before the holidays! Claire Anniston was born on December 5, & she is just BEAUTIFUL! Her big brother Jordan is precious & did such an awesome job being in pictures. I was so honored that Christina & Jaron asked me to capture this sweet season for their family!!

I was so excited when I saw that Lindsey & John Mark had announced that they were expecting! I got to capture their wedding day back in December of 2017 & was honored when they asked me to capture their first session as a family of three! Kennedy is so precious, & she has two amazing parents, that’s for sure!! I loved getting to see them already be so great as Kennedy’s mom & dad. This sweet family is so special & I can’t wait to see what God has in store for them & for Kennedy’s life!!

I don’t even know where to begin with this blogpost!! Karleigh & Daniel are some of our closest friends, & getting to take these photos of them as a new family of 3 was such an honor. Stella Leigh Wagner was born on Friday, July 26 at 12:12 pm! She was 7 pounds, 11 ounces & PERFECT! We got to go to the hospital the next day to meet her, & I still can’t get over how beautiful she is. Karleigh & Daniel are already rockstar parents of course, & we feel so lucky to call them friends. We know the Lord has such amazing plans in store for Stella’s life! I cannot wait to see what all He does through her!!

Last week, I traveled to the Mississippi Delta to capture the Tillman family! Josephine Claire was born on April 3 to Ashley & Carty, & she is just precious! She is named after Carty’s brother, Joseph, & was born on his birthday. It was so special to get to capture this amazing family of 3 in their home on their beautiful farm land. The Tillmans live in Carty’s childhood home, & Ashley did such an incredible job designing Josephine’s nursery—the same nursery that Carty & his siblings each came home to. What a special place for Josephine to grow up! She did so amazing the entire session, & I loved getting to capture her with her awesome parents who are just so in love with her!!

This blogpost has been a LONG time in the making!! When we moved into #theHambickhouse in the summer of 2016, we knew that the kitchen would be our biggest project! It took over 2 years, but we are ALMOST completely done!! All that’s left is adding new baseboards & a new laundry room door/trim, but I figured I’d go ahead & share the before & after photos because who knows when we will have time to do those last couple projects haha! There’s something beautiful about sharing a project that’s in a “it’s almost but not quite finished” place!!

Merry Christmas, friends! I can’t believe Christmas is just ONE WEEK away!! This is always my favorite time of the year, & this year I’ve loved getting to enjoy so many old traditions as well as start some new ones. It’s always one of my favorite parts of the season to get out all of our Christmas decorations & spend an evening putting up our tree, hanging our stockings, & decorating our farm table!! I love getting to host our family & friends, especially during the holidays, so our table easily becomes my favorite part of our decor every year!
