spring wedding at First Baptist Church of Jackson, Mississippi

I had been looking forward to Kaitlyn & Steve’s spring wedding at First Baptist Church of Jackson ever since they asked me to be their photographer!! You might remember them from their fall engagement session – they are the cutest & sweetest couple, & Saturday was full of so much joy as so many family members & friends gathered to celebrate Kaitlyn & Steve! They were married in Kaitlyn’s home church with a reception following at one of Jackson’s best venues, The South Warehouse! Fresh Cut Catering & Floral blew everyone away with the most gorgeous florals & delicious food!! I was so excited to also get to work once again with Posh Design Shoppe who handled every detail of the day so well!

There were many special moments that I was so honored to get to capture. Steve honored his father by wearing his wedding ring, & it was so sweet when Kaitlyn put the ring on Steve’s finger, not only symbolizing their love for one another, but remembering the love & relationship Steve had with his dad. Kaitlyn’s parents gave her a bracelet that had her birthstone in the middle & Steve’s birthstone surrounding it – it was so beautiful & thoughtful!

We got to capture Kaitlyn & Steve’s sweet first look under the most beautiful trees outside of the church, & I loved that Steve just kept saying how beautiful Kaitlyn was! It was so evident that they love each other so much & were so excited to finally become husband & wife. During their ceremony, they had the vocalist sing “What a Beautiful Name” which brought such a worshipful atmosphere. Kaitlyn & Steve are both doctors, & the moment when the pastor pronounced them as “Dr. & Dr. Steve Chow” was PRICELESS!

Kaitlyn & Steve – it has been an honor to capture this season for y’all! Your day was just beautiful, & I can’t wait to see all that God has in store for your journey together as husband & wife!!
