Emily & Wesley’s day was beautiful in every way, & it was truly an honor to get to be a part of it! From the first time I got to capture Emily & Wesley at their engagement session in December, I knew they were such a special couple. They’re both in their final year of medical school, & they love the Lord, each other, & others so very well. Their wedding day was a beautiful representation of the kind of people they are – full of joy, serving others before themselves, & living to glorify the Lord!

There were some super sweet details incorporated into this day! Emily & Wesley met on a medical mission trip when they were in their first year of medical school. As they were sitting on the beach at sunset, a friend snapped a photo of them without them knowing it! When Wesley proposed to Emily, he gave her the photo as a gift. Emily had the photo drawn & framed & gave it to Wesley as a wedding present after their first look on Saturday – so so sweet! Emily also wanted to honor her grandmother who passed away several years ago. Emily’s mom had flowers from Emily’s grandmother’s wedding veil sewn onto pocket squares that Emily carried with her so that a part of her grandmother’s legacy would be with her on her big day.

Some of my favorite parts of Emily & Wesley’s day were the SWEETEST father/daughter first look between Emily & her dad, getting to capture Emily’s JOY & excitement over finally getting to marry her best friend, & seeing how thoughtful & focused Wesley was towards Emily all day long, making sure that she was having fun & feeling loved! I just loved every moment & am so grateful that I got to be a part of it!

Emily & Wesley – thank you both so much for giving me the privilege of being your wedding photographer! I can’t wait to see what God continues to do in & through your marriage & as y’all serve Him in the medical field together!! Your day was full of so much joy & I’m so excited for y’all to get to relive it through these images!!
