Oh this day, y’all!! I’ve been looking forward to Katie & Marshall’s wedding day ever since Katie reached out to me after they got engaged & asked me to be their photographer!! I got to meet these two when they were in their cousin’s wedding I got to photographer last December, so I was SO honored that they chose to have me capture this season for them!! If I had to describe their day in one word, it would without a doubt be JOY!! Even though it rained almost their entire wedding day, you would have never known it by the way Katie & Marshall never stopped smiling & were so excited to finally be saying “I do!”

My favorite moment from Katie & Marshall’s day was definitely their first look! They were both so full of emotion, & getting to capture all of their joy & love was such an honor. As Marshall hugged Katie after seeing her in her dress for the first time, he just kept saying “Katie, you are SO beautiful!” I was 100% tearing up behind my camera & was reminded once again just how blessed I am that this is my job. Getting to capture wedding days like Katie & Marshall’s brings me so much joy, & I’m so excited to share so many favorites of their day with you!!

One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is the relationships I get to build with not only the bride & groom, but their family & friends! I’ve gotten to do several Louisville, MS weddings now, so when I go there, I get to see so many familiar faces & work with some of the SWEETEST vendors & people ever!! Louisville is that small town that just makes you feel like you’re at home, & I couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing wedding days I’ve gotten to capture there & the precious friendships I’ve gotten to make with the people there!

I always love working with Johnny & the rest of the team at Market Cafe, & they knocked it out of the park once again with AMAZING food & an incredible reception experience! Katie found her GORGEOUS dress (as well as her bridesmaids’ dresses) with the help of the amazing group at The Bride & Groom based in Columbus, MS. Hailey of Cups N Cakes Bakery is one of my all time favorite bakers, & as you can see, the bride’s cake she created looked beyond incredible & tasted even better!! These vendors & the rest of the amazing team that Katie & Marshall chose did a phenomenal job making their day so so beautiful!!

Katie & Marshall, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be a part of your truly beautiful day. I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for your marriage as y’all live to glorify Him!! So thankful for you both!!
